Hello there, I’m Katie – an NCTJ-qualified journalist, travel writer and editor.

As well as this blog (which only my mum reads), I write and edit for a few different publications and companies and I offer private consulting.

Advice and Travel Consulting

You can book a Zoom call with me, which will include:

  • Uninterrupted time with an experienced traveller and travel writer where you can ask me anything. The call will be recorded for your convenience so you can listen/watch in future and you’re welcome to invite all the parties in your travel group to attend, even if they’re based in a different location. During the session I’ll help you plan a personalised itinerary, share local knowledge and answer your questions. I do not book on your behalf, but can help get you ready to book independently.
  • A Google Doc with your personalised itinerary/notes.

    NB. Private consultations are charged at a rate of USD130/hour. You can book increments of 30 minutes. Payment is required in advance of your booking and is charged by credit card. Please email katiemonk06@gmail.com to book.
